Dale Smith Celebrates 40 years with Three Point Motors
There are few things finer or smoother than a distinct whiskey that has been aged 40 years. Like that finely aged liquor, if an individual works at something just as long, they can end up being a finely-tuned, smooth operating technician like Dale Smith, who has done just that for Three Point Motors.
He started in the parts department selling lubes and oils which eventually brought him to his marathon run of service in the same service bay he started in many years ago. He watched the company evolve around him as he represented and shared an unmeasurable background of knowledge with customers and service technicians within our shop and beyond.
The GAIN Dealer Group and Three Point Motors staff were happy to share this milestone event with him this afternoon, as we shared cake and bubbly. Dale’s son, Scott, a next generation Three Point Motor technician, proudly presented a mean green Kawasaki Ninja for his father’s year’s of service.
All staff were happy to present this small token of thanks back to their friend and mentor who has been a major part of their career within the company.
While Dale recounted the highs and lows of his career and humble beginnings, he remembered and told stories of how each decade unfolded. He shared a fun little anecdote of a past and fellow technician, Al Carter who retired at the ripe age of 78, musing that he’s not done quite yet.
Until he gets on his new bike and rides off into the sunset, the management and staff of Three Point Motor and GAIN Dealer Group, salute this great motor warrior for his accomplishments while looking forward to more incredible years with him.
Congratulation to Dale Smith for your 40 Years of Service!
